It’s this time of the year when we sadly have to admit: I’ve done none of my last new year’s health resolutions.
Well, if that’s your case, then make sure this year you make promises to yourself that are much easier to achieve than last new year’s promises.
I know, this year you know better… I do, too. And guess what?… I already did one of my new year’s resolutions: I received a fitness membership card as a Christmas gift, and I already attended 2 of my 12 trial fitness trainings. I’m so thrilled. I love it so much to a point that I hate my old self for keeping me away from gym for so long.
So if I can do it, then you can do it, too!
What’s common about all of these new year’s resolutions is that they are all doable. Even if you don’t like some of them, there is always at least one you can do with pleasure on regular basis… And next year at that same time you won’t be saying again: I did nothing of my last new year’s resolutions, cause now I offer you 5 easy to achieve promises:
Even if you don’t eat breakfast, which is not recommended, don’t forget your morning cup of honey and cinnamon drink. The evening cup of this drink is equally important, so don’t forget it either. If you want to know more about the importance of taking honey and cinnamon drink go to Honey and Cinnamon for weight loss. There you will find the recipe for the drink, as well as my video how to prepare it.
For more benefits of this healthy drink read my article about Cinnamon – a miracle in a half teaspoon or you can join our closed Facebook discusion group Honey and Cinnamon Drink to learn more about other people’s experience with this amazing drink.
Nothing could be easier than that… Whole, organic flaxseeds are the best source of fiber for IBS patients. In fact everyone suffering slow bowel movement can use it, too.
Just pre-soak 1 teaspoon of flaxseed in a small cup, pour 2-3 sips of cold water and wait a few hours to soak. It’s easier to soak it overnight and drink it all first thing in the morning, even before the Honey and Cinnamon Drink.
Flax seeds are rich in:
By taking flax seeds on regular basis, you gain all their benefits in a single teaspoon. Great, isn’t it? And prolonged use leads to some remarkable results:
A study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that flaxseeds could improve obesity and aid weight loss.
Considering the fact that flax is full of healthy fats and fiber, it’s no wonder why flax seeds aid weight loss. Adding 2-3 teaspoons to your regular diet plan (favorite salads, smoothies, etc.) or to some special weight loss plan – either way flax seeds will help you feel full longer, so you will eat fewer calories throughout the day, thus you may lose weight effortlessly.
Sounds strange, but it’s not. Here’s why:
Internet diet means to wait at least 1 hour after you get up from bed in the morning before start checking your e- mails, social networks, or whatever is going on online. Do the same 1 hour before going to bed in the evening for better results.
And the results are:
If you are up to this buzare, but yet effective diet, then all you have to do is block your WiFi or mobile internet for one hour every morning and evening. You can do it for 1 hour during the workday as well, as long as your day job allows it.
That means to create a doc – whether in an old fashioned handwritten diary, or in an online health history diary – it’s not of such a great importance.
What is essential about keeping track of your health history is that you can move to a new doctor seamlessly, only by giving them copy of your health history diary. It may contain:
These, I am sure, would answer many of the questions that arise for your new doctor. Perfect! This way your new physician won’t miss anything from your anamnesis and would be much easier for them to react in extreme situation when knowing to which medications you are allergic is of huge importance.
That’s the absolute minimum of physical activity for the day. I chose to ofhttp://www.weight-loss-advisor.com/squats-for-more-beautiful-legs/fer you that particular exercise bodyweight squats, because it’s so easy, you can do it everywhere, everytime, even at work. It requires no special equipment or sportsware. For best results try to do your daily portion of physical activity in the morning half an hour after rolling out of bed. However if you don’t have time in the morning, then you can do it in the evening one hour after dinner.
30 squats are a good number of squats per day for beginners. Try to increase that number with as many more squats as you can bare.
For example 2 years ago I did a 30 days squat challenge – I started with 30 per day, and managed to reach 250. Now with my gym membership card, I don’t need to do them at home, but if you don’t have time to spend on gym training, then home (or work) squatting is a good way to keep your legs and butt in shape.
Of course, it’s not enough for overall body health and shape, but yet it’s a good start, which I hope will make you more determined to home workout (or gym workout) even more.
